Welcome to the beginning of an exciting experience for you and your child. We are so happy to have you here at NCES and we look forward to a wonderful year together.
Please provide the following items for your child:
Ø A standard size backpack (no wheels)
Ø ½” white binder with clear front pocket
Ø 3-holed zipper pouch that fits into the white binder
Ø 2 primary composition notebooks (black & white cover)
Ø 2 sturdy pocket folders
Ø 1 small plastic pencil box (5” x 8”)
Ø 1 pair of Fiskars scissors (round tip)
Ø 2 boxes of 24 count crayons
Ø 12 yellow #2 pencils and a package of pencil topper erasers
Ø 12 small or 6 large glue sticks
Ø 1 bottle of Elmer’s Glue
Ø 1 set of thin markers or 1 set of thick markers
Ø 1 package of Expo 2 (low odor) dry erase markers
Ø 1 set of 8 water color paints
Ø 2 cans of Play Doh
Ø 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
Ø 1 container of antibacterial wipes
Ø 2 boxes of tissues
Ø 1 roll of paper towel
Ø 1 can of tennis balls
Ø Bring one according to beginning of last name
o A-G box of gallon Ziploc bags
o H-M box of sandwich bags
o N-S box of 2-gallon Ziploc bags
o T-Z package of white paper plates
Optional – 1 ream of white or colored paper and clear page protectors
We are also asking for each child to send $5.35 for the Weekly Reader Magazine. Your child will use these excellent up-to-date magazines each week.
